For Chelsea High School, there are 2 pictures that are needed by Seniors for their Senior year.

Our school picture affiliate (schoolpictures.com) is now offering Senior Portrait sessions to provide an easy and convenient Senior portrait experience…Michael Barton Studios. Sessions take place at Chelsea High School and are booked in advance. You have the choice of a full Senior session or a composite only session.  This second option is referred to as a “yearbook only” session as our template has that as the only other option.  This “yearbook only” session will be done on a professional studio background for use on the composite.  You will have the option to purchase images from either session if you wish.

For your information, there are 2 main picture-taking aspects to the Senior year: 

• Picture for the Yearbook: You may get this done with Michael Barton Studios August 9-10 as part of their session package. We will ensure we meet your school’s criteria for the yearbook.

• A “Composite” Picture for School ID, College Transcripts and Graduation Composite:
  • All Seniors should have their photos taken at the photo sessions at CHS at the Michael Barton Studio sessions in August. Alternatively, you can fulfill this requirement on picture day by schoolpictures.com at Chelsea High School (in September). This one photo will cover the requirement for your school ID, transcripts and composite.
  • This photo will become your official photo that will be sent to universities, colleges, trade schools and military routes; it will stay on the transcripts forever. Please dress appropriately. Professional attire is highly suggested for this photograph.
